The original Vivo V7 Plus was announced back in September last year, and the company has just launched an Infinite Red variant of the device in India. This is a limited edition smartphone, and its specifications are pretty much identical to the original variant. The design of this smartphone is also identical to the original, save for the paint job, and the drawing on the back of the device. You will notice a heart-shaped drawing on the back, along with the name ‘Manish Malhotra’ imprinted on the back. That’s actually a name of the designer with whom Vivo partnered up with in order to announce this variant of the phone.
This variant of the Vivo V7 Plus is definitely aimed for Valentine’s Day, and the company says that the phone draws inspiration ‘from the universal color of love’, which only shows that Vivo is marketing this phone as a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day. The company has also released a promo video for the phone, which has been embedded down below, if you’d like to check it out. The phone is made out of metal, it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a single camera on the back. Bezels on this phone are quite thin, and the device sports a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, where its loudspeaker is also located. The device sports a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) FullView display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, along with the Adreno 506 GPU which is included on that chipset.
Thee Vivo V7 Plus packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage, while a 3,225mAh non-removable battery is also a part of the package. Android 7.1.2 Nougat comes pre-installed on the phone, along with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.2, which is the company’s custom skin. A 16-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of the device, while you will find a 24-megapixel camera on the phone’s front side. The device also sports the AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip, and Bluetooth 4.2. The Infinite Red Vivo V7 Plus is priced at Rs. 22,990 ($358), and it’s already available in India via offline stores across the country, and also Amazon India (online exclusive).
