Nubia NX606J Pops Up On AnTuTu With SD845 SoC, 6GB Of RAM

A new Nubia-branded smartphone has just surfaced on AnTuTu, the Nubia NX606J. Judging by the specs mentioned in the listing, the Nubia NX606J is the company’s all-new flagship smartphone. This handset, according to AnTuTu, comes with Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, the Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. A fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display has also been mentioned in the listing, and the same can be said for Android 8.0 Oreo as well.

Now, on top of Android 8.0 Oreo, this handset will ship with Nubia very own nubia UI skin. In any case, this listing also mentioned that the device managed to score 271,674 points on AnTuTu, which would probably be the highest score on AnTuTu if the phone is out already, but it’s not. Truth be said, this phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 845, and not a single phone which is currently available is powered by that SoC, at least not yet, but we will see a ton of such devices in 2018, and all of them will be able to grab really high scores on AnTuTu. As most of you probably already know, AnTuTu score is not an indicator of real life performance, but it sure does show off a sheer power of Qualcomm’s flagship processor. In any case, this handset will probably be called the Nubia Z19, and we still do not know when will it launch. There’s a chance it may arrive at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), but that’s not as likely, as the Nubia Z17 launched back in June last year, and the Nubia Z17s arrive in October.

The Nubia Z17s sports really thin bezels, one of the thinnest out there, and chances are that the Nubia Z19 will cut down those bezels even further. The device will probably be made out of metal and glass, even though no such info surfaced just yet. We are expecting to see a dual camera setup on the back of the Nubia Z19, while the phone could sport an in-display fingerprint scanner, unless Nubia opts to include a rear-facing fingerprint sensor instead. It is quite probable that the device will ship in an 8GB RAM variant as well, and it will probably launch in mid-2018, which means that we’ll see more rumors and leaks in the coming weeks.
