Dyson announced a new high-end air purifier in the form of the Dyson Pure Cool. The tech company notes that the air purifier is capable of capturing ultrafine pollutants through its two-layer filter and is also capable of circulating clean air throughout the room through by leveraging its proprietary Air Multiplier technology. The device includes sensors that can measure the air quality of the room. The information obtained from the product’s sensors is used by the device in order to automatically adjust its airflow, while the LCD screen located at the base of the air purifier informs the user of the pollutants present in the room and the purifier’s current activities.
The filter utilized by the Dyson Pure Cool is made from Glass HEPA borosilicate microfiber, active graphite filter, and a tris-impregnated graphite. The HEPA borosilicate microfiber material enables the device to filter as much as 99.97-percent of all particles larger than 0.3 microns, while the active graphite and tris-impregnated graphite filters remove odors, fumes, and harmful gases from the air. The tech firm mentioned that the filter of the air purifier only needs to be replaced once per year even if the machine is being used for twelve hours a day.
Aside from the included remote control, users may also control the Dyson Pure Cool air purifier using the Dyson Link application. Through the app, consumers may either control the purifier in real-time or set a schedule for it. In addition, the application informs you of the air quality inside and outside your home, and it also notifies you when the filter of the air purifier needs to be changed. People may also use voice commands through Amazon Alexa in order to control the air purifier. Another device that the company has announced recently is the Dyson Cyclone V10, a cordless vacuum cleaner that offers an hour of battery life. The new vacuum cleaner has considerably better battery life compared to its predecessors which only offer around 20 minutes of battery life. The Pure Cool will come with a price tag of $449, while its filters will cost $80 once the product is released this spring. Meanwhile, the Cyclone V10 is priced at $499.
