HQ Trivia To Sponsor Warner Bros. Films For $3 Million

HQ Trivia is said to be sponsoring Warner Bros. films for $3 million as part of a deal reached between the two. The deal will see HQ Trivia sponsor Ready Player One first, followed by two more films, though the names of those films were not mentioned. This is a rather lucrative deal for the popular trivia-based game show app that you can install on Android devices, but it’s also going to be a lucrative deal for players as the part of the terms include a $250,000 jackpot to be announced during tomorrow’s game at some point.

Neither HQ Trivia nor Warner Bros. have officially confirmed the deal, but sources which are said to be familiar with the details state that both the money for promoting three movies and the jackpot are coming. If the jackpot is going to be at the amount that’s been rumored it will end up being the most money that HQ Trivia has given away to players to date, which is likely to bring in more players to give the game a shot and try their hand at winning.

It’s suggested that HQ Trivia may end up entering into similar deals with more brands and companies to come up with new revenue and ways to sponsor the prizes for players of the game. It’s also suggested that during the announcement of the sponsor (Warner Bros. in this case) some of the trivia questions will have to do with the film Ready Player One. Since the movie hasn’t been released yet and the questions may be asked during tomorrow’s trivia, it’s unlikely that any of the questions will be centered around details which can’t be known unless you’ve seen the film. That said it may help players if they’ve read the book as there could be information that would assist in answering these questions. Though there is no confirmation on the prize money, anyone who is even remotely interested may want to install HQ Trivia and tune in just in case.
