Huawei P20 Lite Hands-On Video Appears With Specs & Images

A ton of Huawei P20 Lite info just surfaced, courtesy of an Italian publication. Having said that, the source claims that the device has been purchased from Mediaworld and Euronics, and that all this info got published because it is already available, despite the fact Huawei did not announce this handset just yet, nor is it listed on either of those two websites (Italian resellers). This may sound quite confusing, but that’s not the focus of this article, the phone itself, however, is the focus.

There are quite a few real-life images of the phone in the gallery, while unboxing and hands-on video with the Huawei P20 Lite is embedded down below. Now, as you can see, the phone is made out of metal and glass, and it sports a display notch, as pretty much every leak suggested. There are two cameras on the back of the phone, they are vertically-aligned, and are not flush with the back of the device. A fingerprint scanner also sits on the back of the Huawei P20 Lite, and the same can be said for an LED flash, which is located right below the phone’s dual-camera setup. Bezels on this handset are not insanely thin, but they’re not thick either, at all. The bottom bezel is the thickest, while the rest of them are really thin. A 3.5mm headphone jack is placed on the bottom of the device, along with a Type-C USB port, and a loudspeaker. The Huawei P20 Lite utilizes on-screen buttons, while Huawei’s logo sits below the display.

The source claims that the Huawei P20 Lite will be priced at €369 in Europe, and that is how much this unit cost. In all honesty, the phone will probably be a bit more affordable through official channels. Now, as far as specs are concerned, the phone features a 5.84-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. Huawei’s Kirin 659 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the phone, while the device also packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. 16 and 2-megapixel snappers are included on the back of this smartphone, while you will find a 16-megapixel shooter on the phone’s front side. Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on the Huawei P20 Lite, with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.0 skin. The device measures 148.6 x 71.2 x 7.4mm, while it weighs 145 grams. It is also worth noting that it does include an NFC chip, and Bluetooth 4.2. The Huawei P20 Lite is expected to become official on March 27, along with the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.
