The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is one of Xiaomi’s most anticipated smartphones this year, and the phone’s alleged case has just surfaced. This seems to be a third-party case for the Xiaomi MI Max 3, and we’re looking at a regular TPU case here, which is 0.8mm thick. Based on this case, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will include its power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons on the right side, while a fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back of the device. This handset will also have a vertically-aligned dual camera setup, just like the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and so on, which probably means that its LED flash will be included in-between two of its rear-facing cameras.
Some Xiaomi Mi Max 3 info surfaced earlier this year, and if that info is to be believed, the phone will include wireless charging, which essentially means that it probably won’t have a metal back like its predecessor. If wireless charging ends up being a part of the package, the Mi Max 3 will probably ship with a glass back. If the leaked info is to be believed, the Mi Max 3 will be fueled either by the Snapdragon 636 or Snapdragon 660, though it’s also possible that Xiaomi ends up utilizing both SoC, as we’ll almost certainly get at least two variant of the Mi Max 3, which will sport different RAM and storage capacities, and possibly even different SoC. Leaked info also claimed that the phone will ship with 3GB and 4GB of RAM, while those two variants will include 64GB and 128GB of native storage, respectively. A 6.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display had also been mentioned in those leaks, and the same can be said for a 5,500mAh non-removable battery, which will be accompanied by Qualcomm’s Quick Charge fast charging, version 3.0, quite probably.
Having said that, the Mi Max 3 will probably utilize on-screen buttons, and if its predecessor is any indication as to when it may arrive, the Mi Max 3 may launch next month, in May, as the Mi Max 2 arrived in May 2017. The Mi Max 3 is also expected to sport considerably thinner bezels compared to its predecessor, though we’ll see what will Xiaomi come up with.
