OnePlus had been teasing its upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship for a while now, and the front side of the phone has just surfaced, it seems. If you take a look at the provided image, you will see a phone whose front side resembles the recently-announced OPPO R15 handset. The OnePlus 6’s front side is actually expected to look like the front side of the OPPO R15, so this is not surprising, but this is the first time that we’re seeing an actual image of the OnePlus 6’s front.
Now, as you can see, the phone sports a display notch, which is not surprising considering that Carl Pei already confirmed that the notch is coming, which was not taken that well by the company’s fans, well, at least some of them who have expressed their feelings on Twitter. The phone sports really thin bezels, as you can see, though a very thin ‘chin’ is present below the phone’s display. The AIDA64 hardware and software information application is running on the phone’s display, and it reveals that this phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, which more or less reveals that this is the OnePlus 6, and not the OPPO R15. That being said, the OnePlus 6’s back side had leaked quite recently as well, by Evan Blass, and if that image is to be believed, the OnePlus 6 will sport a considerably different back side design than the OPPO R15, as it will ship with a wood-like back cover, similar to some of OnePlus’ official cases for the OnePlus 5Tl.
The OnePlus 6 was originally expected to arrive in June, but it seems like it may arrive before the end of April, considering how many leaks we’ve seen thus far, and how many teasers OnePlus released. The company confirmed that the phone will arrive with navigation gestures, while new functionality will be added to the phone’s alert slider, which will make a comeback as well. A 3.5mm headphone jack will be a part of the offering as well, while the phone will almost certainly ship in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. The device will include a 6.28-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) display, while Dash Charge fast charging will be included as well.
