We’ve exclusively shared a Motorola Moto Z3 Play render last month, and a new one has just surfaced, courtesy of @evleaks. This is the “Deep Indigo” model of the Moto Z3 Play, and as you can see, the phone is made out of metal and glass. The phone’s camera oreo protrudes on the back, quite a bit actually, and it consists out of two cameras, and a dual-LED flash, judging by the provided image.
Now, a fingerprint scanner seems to be located on the right-hand side of the phone, which is clearly visible in the provided image. On that same side, you will also find the phone’s volume up and volume down buttons, while a single physical key lies on the phone’s left side. Is that a power / lock key, maybe? It probably is, but we cannot say for sure just yet. The phone’s bezels are quite thin, especially compared to the Moto Z2 Play, and Motorola’s branding is present on both the phone’s front and back sides. The Moto Z3 Play’s display will sport rounded corners, and pogo pins will be located in the lower portion of the phone’s back, which essentially means that the Moto Z3 Play will be compatible with the company’s Moto Mod accessories. A Type-C port sits on the bottom of the device, while a loudspeaker is not located down there, which is quite interesting, as it’s nowhere to be found.
If rumors are to be believed, the Moto Z3 Play will sport a 6-inch fullHD+ display, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 636 64-bit octa-core processor, while a 3,000mAh battery will also be a part of the package. 12 and 8-megapixel cameras are said to be located on the back of the phone, while a single 5-megapixel camera will be included on the device’s front side. All in all, the Moto Z3 Play will be a mid-range smartphone, just like its predecessor, though it will be more powerful than the recently-introduced Moto G6, G6 Play, E5, E5 Play, and E5 Plus smartphones. Motorola is expected to introduce the Moto Z3 Play in the near future, as its predecessor arrive back in June last year, so it’s possible that the Moto Z3 Play will launch next month.
