Vivo Nex 'Bezel-Less' Smartphone Leaks Ahead Of Launch

Vivo’s upcoming bezel-less smartphone has just leaked yet again, the Vivo Nex. Now, Vivo had already confirmed that its bezel-less handset will be officially launched on June 12, and this new leak shows a real-life image of one of Vivo Nex variants. Now, according to the provided info, there will be two variants, one of them will ship with an advanced pop-up camera mechanism which Vivo showed off during the Mobile World Congress in form of the Vivo Apex, and the other one will sport a regular front-facing camera which will be included in the bottom-right corner of the phone’s front side, similar to what Xiaomi did with the Mi MIX 2S.

Having said that, the variant that you can see here sports a regular front-facing camera, and yet, its bezels are almost non-existent. This phone does sport an extremely thin chin below the display, but other than that, its bezels are basically non-existent, though its frame bezel is still there of course. This phone will not sport a display notch, which is a trend that many smartphones picked up at this point. Now, it is not clear whether Vivo will announce both Nex variants on June 12, but chances are it will, and both of them will have an extremely high screen-to-body ratio. Needless to say, the design of the two Nex variants is based on the Vivo Apex concept phone which Vivo shown off during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) earlier this year, and considering that Vivo already talked about specs of the Vivo Apex, those are probably the specs that the Vivo Nex will sport, as the Apex was a concept device, and the Vivo Nex will basically be a version of the device available to consumers.

Vivo actually teased the Vivo Nex in a recent ad, an ad created for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The Vivo Nex is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 5.99-inch OLED display with COF technology, at least those are the specs Vivo mentioned for the Apex. An in-display fingerprint scanner will probably be included in both variants of the Vivo Nex, though we’re still not sure. The device will be announced on June 12 in China, so stay tuned for that.
