OPPO had recently confirmed that the Vivo Find X flagship is on its way, and now the phone’s specifications have surfaced. This info comes from a China-based tipster, though we cannot confirm if the info is accurate or not, at least not yet. In any case, if this info is to be believed, the OPPO Find X will sport top of the line spec sheet. The source claims that the device will feature a 6.42-inch “full screen” QHD+ display, which essentially means it will have really thin bezels, but it’s possible that we may see a fullHD+ panel instead.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the OPPO Find X, if the info is to be believed, while the device will boast 8GB of RAM, and sport 256GB of native storage. It is possible that the phone arrives in more variants, so a 6GB RAM model with 128GB of storage is also a possibility. The OPPO Find X is also expected to sport 3D facial scanning, similar to what the iPhone X and Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition are offering, which probably means it will sport a rather wide notch at the top of its display, or simply a bit thicker bezel up top. The OPPO Find X will also include OPPO’s newest VOOC Super Flash Charge technology which was shown off a while back, a 4,000mAh battery will also be included, and it may also ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner, though such sensor was not mentioned by the source.
OPPO not only confirmed that the Find X handset is coming, but the company also launched a teaser website for the device. It is still unknown when will this phone see the light of day, but it will be the first flagship-grade smartphone that OPPO released since the Find 7, which was announced back in March 2014. A render of the OPPO Find X actually surfaced earlier this year, suggesting a triple camera setup, and really thin bezels with a top-notch design, but it remains to be seen if that leak was legit or not. Chances are OPPO will announce the Find X’s release date in the near future, as the device is expected to launch in a month or two.
