Sony Promotes Xperia XZ2 Premium's Cameras: Video

Three days ago, Sony made the Xperia XZ2 Premium available for pre-order on Amazon, and now the company released two new promo videos for the device. As per usual, these two videos were released via YouTube, and they’re called ‘the ultimate creation machine’ and ‘camera to the extreme’. Both of these videos are embedded down below, for your convenience, and they’re both camera-related.

In the first video, the company is using the ‘reveal the unseen’ caption in order to promote the Xperia XZ2 Premium’s cameras. The Xperia XZ2 Premium comes with two Motion Eye rear-facing cameras, 19 and 12-megapixel cameras which sport f/1.8 and f/1.6 aperture lenses, respectively. The phone’s 19-megapixel camera features pixels which are 1.22um in size, while the second one has 1.55um pixels. The phone’s 19-megapixel camera actually packs in a regular memory-stacked RGB sensor, while the other one has a monochrome sensor. In the video, Sony also mentions the phone’s fusion image signal processor (AUBE), which is expected to boost image quality on the phone. Sony also mentions that you can crank up the ISO on the Xperia XZ2 Premium up to 51200, while the company also mentions some camera effects in this video.

The second video is a bit shorter, but it’s also focusing mainly on the phone’s cameras (though other features are being mentioned here as well), while the company is once again using the ‘reveal the unseen’ caption, and once again mentions iSO. The company also boasts about 4K HDR recording in this video, as the Xperia XZ2 Premium is the world’s first smartphone which can do that. The phone’s 4K HDR display is also mentioned in the video, as is the phone’s audio prowess. The Xperia XZ2 Premium offers wireless charging as well, and that’s pretty much everything Sony focused on in this video. The Xperia XZ2 Premium was introduced back in April, and it’s basically a more powerful version of the Xperia XZ2 which was announced earlier this year.
