Huawei Mate 20 Lite Leaks In Black, Blue & Gold Colors

The Huawei Mate 20 Lite had surfaced in Black and Gold variants yesterday, and today Evan Blass shared some new renders of the phone, showing the device in three colors, Black, Gold, and Blue. The Huawei Mate 20 Lite will be the least powerful of the upcoming Mate 20-branded smartphones, as it will be the only mid-range handset in that lineup, but still, it will be in the higher-mid-range category, quite probably.

The Huawei Mate 20 Lite, as you can see in the provided images, will be made out of metal and glass, while its back side will be curved on the sides. The device will include two cameras on the back, which will not be flush with the back of the phone, while a fingerprint scanner will sit right below those two cameras. Huawei’s logo will be included on the back of this phone as well, while the device will sport rather thin bezels. A display notch will be a part of the package as well, and it will host two cameras, an earpiece, and some sensors, it seems. The phone will sport a ‘chin’ below the display, but that bezel will not be thick at all. All the physical keys will be included on the right-hand side of this phone, while its SIM card tray will be accessible from the left. A loudspeaker and a Type-C port will sit on the bottom of the phone, while a 3.5mm headphone jack may also be included in the package, though we’re not sure.

The Huawei Mate 20 Lite will probably ship with a 6.3-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) display, and it will be fueled by the Kirin 710 64-bit octa-core processor, if the phone’s TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) is to be believed. The device will include 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on the phone, along with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.2 skin. A 3,650mAh battery was also mentioned, and that battery will not be removable. 20 and 2-megapixel cameras will be included on the back of this phone, while you will be able to find 24 and 2-megapixel cameras on the device’s front side. The device will probably launch next month, in October, unless Huawei opts to pull the trigger sooner than that.
