Huawei is planning to introduce some new P20 Pro color options at this year’s IFA in Berlin, according to the source. The Huawei P20 Pro was introduced back in February this year, and it has been available for quite some time now. Well, it seems like Huawei will introduce two new gradient-adoming color variants at this year’s IFA, during Richard Yu’s keynote which will take place in less than two weeks.
The source claims that it has seen those two new colors, so they can confirm they exist, but they cannot reveal their names, or photos of those new color options. The source did, however, say that the first color is inspired by the night sky and the aurora borealis. In addition to that, that color variant uses a wider color gamut than the Twilight color option that is already available, it starts with a black color on the left, and it transitions towards turquoise on the right. You will also notice purple and blue hues on that color, says the source. The second color is inspired by the sea, along with sea shells and pearls, so it’s predominantly white. That second color options will have hints of pink and yellow in it, and in general, it’s similar to the Rose Gold P20, if the provided info is to be believed.
The source did not reveal where will these new color options become available, as in which markets, but it’s possible that Huawei will push them in a number of markets around the world, just to prologue lifespan of the P20 Pro, until the Mate 20 series arrives in October. The Huawei P20 Pro is the company’s current flagship smartphone which comes with three cameras on the back, and all of those cameras are covered by Leica’s lenses. The P20 Pro is regarded to be one of the best camera smartphones out there at the moment, and it remains to be seen if Huawei can up the game even further with the Mate 20 and / or Mate 20 Pro.
