Motorola P30 Renders, Specifications & Pricing Surface

Motorola‘s rumored upcoming smartphone dubbed the Motorola P30 will reportedly include a notch at the top of the display, as suggested by a set of press renders that just leaked online. The Motorola P30 will supposedly be the company’s first mobile device to come with a notch on the display, a trend that has increasingly been seeing wide adoption among smartphone makers including Samsung, LG, and Huawei.

Additionally, the leaked renders apparently show slim bezels on the sides and narrow bezels at the bottom of the device. In terms of design, the handset has a glass back design and an aluminum frame. The Motorola P30 is supposed to sport a 6.2-inch Fullscreen 2.5D display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Flipping to the rear panel of the handset reveals a dual camera setup that sits at the top left corner in a vertical orientation, boasting a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an aperture of an f/1.8. On the front is a 12-megapixel selfie snapper with an aperture of an f/1.8 and a native support for artificial intelligence and augmented reality. In addition, the camera module includes an LED flash located between the two camera sensors. And like the other Motorola devices carrying a fingerprint sensor, the fingerprint scanner of the Motorola P30 is found at its usual location at the back of the device on the same spot where the Motorola logo sits. Under the hood, the Motorola P30 is rumored to ship with an octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also reportedly pack a 3,000mAh battery with support for fast charging and it will likely run Android 8.0 or 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone will also likely include a Dolby 360 surround sound support and U-touch split-screen.

The Lenovo-owned company has yet to confirm the renders and the specs of the rumored Motorola P30, but it won’t be long before the official device sees the light of day supposedly on August 15 in China. The device will reportedly come in three color options: black, white, and a colorful gradient version. In terms of the pricing, the base variant with 64GB of internal memory will reportedly cost CNY 1,999, approximately $290. The Motorola P30 won’t likely be alone, however. Just a few days ago, the Moto P30 surfaced on Motorola’s official website with other Moto-branded handsets such as the Moto P30 Note and the Moto P30 Play, though these have been taken down in the meantime.
