Ulefone has just announced that the Ulefone Power 5S handset is available for pre-order. This is the company’s newest big battery smartphone, and it can be pre-ordered from AliExpress for $199.99 as we speak. The company also said that this price tag will be attached to the phone on November 11 sales festival, as the phone will be available for straight up purchase by then, in fact, that may be the first day this phone becomes available / exists the pre-order stage. Ulefone has even released a new promo video for this smartphone in which its features and specs are highlighted, that video lasts about a minute, and it is embedded down below, along with a pre-order link for the device.
As already mentioned, this is a big battery phone, it comes with a 13,000mAh battery, and that is one of its main selling points, actually. The Ulefone Power 5S comes with a letter-like back, while you will also find two vertically-aligned cameras back then, not to mention that a dual-LED, dual-tone flash is also included. The phone does look like a rugged device, and it is mostly made out of metal, while it sports a rather interesting shape. The power / lock and volume up / down buttons are included on the right-hand side of this device, while a third button lies on the bottom portion of its right side, that is probably a camera key, but we do not know if it’s remappable. The device does come with rather noticeable bezels but they’re not the largest we’ve seen on rugged devices, not even close.
As far as specs are concerned, this is a mid-range smartphone. The device is fueled by the MediaTek’s Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor, while it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone features a 6-inch fullHD+ InCell display, while Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 protection is applied on top of it. 21 and 5-megapixel cameras can be found on the back of this phone, while 13 and 5-megapixel cameras are included on the phone’s front side. The device does include a fingerprint scanner, while facial scanning is also available here. 10W fast wireless charging is also enabled, and Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on this smartphone.
