CHUWI LapBook Pro Announced With 90% Screen-To-Body Ratio

CHUWI has just announced a new laptop, the CHUWI LapBook Pro. The company refers to this laptop as a ‘full view laptop’, and it sees it a competitor to the MateBook X Pro and Dell XPS13/15, as those are all ‘full view’ laptops with extremely thin bezels. This laptop is made out of aluminum, and in addition to really thin bezels around the display, the device is also quite thin in general. CHUWI’s branding is placed below the display, while this laptop has ‘legs’ on the bottom for better cooling, while those ‘legs’ also make sure that the laptop does not slip around the table or whatever other surface it’s on.

The company says that the LapBook Pro’s screen bezels are only 0.6cm on the left and right sides, while the device has a screen-to-body ratio of 90-percent. CHUWI says that the LapBook Pro’s keyboard characters are engraved with radium carving technology, while they also have a soft white backlight, so that you can see what you’re typing in the dark. Intel’s Gemini Lake 14nm 64-bit quad-core processor fuels this laptop, and it is clocked at 2.4GHz. The CHUWI LapBook sports 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC hard disk space, with M.2SSD support. Windows 10 comes pre-installed on the CHUWI LapBook Pro, while the device has support for various gestures which you can perform using its touchpad. Now, as far as ports are concerned, the CHUWI LapBook sports a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Type-C USB port, USB 3.0 port, and a micro HDMI ports.

This company follows the releases of the LapBook 12.3, LapBook 14.1, LapBook 15.6, and LapBook Air, all of which are currently available on the company’s website. Chuwi did say that the CHUWI LapBook Pro will become available in the near future, but did not say when exactly.
