Ulefone Armor 3/3T Turned To Ice In New Torture Test: Video

In the latest Ulefone Armor 3/3T promo video, Ulefone has decided to submit the two devices to a new torture test, this time around, ice is in play. The promo video that is embedded down below has a duration of about one minute, and it shows the Ulefone Armor 3/3T turned to ice, basically. The phone was placed in a bowl with water, and then put into a freezer. Not surprisingly, the phone turned into a big block of ice, which the person in a video needed to crack in order to access the phone. Interestingly enough, Ulefone used the Armor 3T as a hammer in order to crack the ice in which the Armor 3 was trapped in.

Now, once the phone was removed from that ice block, it worked as per normal, though it needed to be wiped down first, of course. The company says that the phone was in the freezer for 15 hours, and it did not even shut down in the process, it continued performing as per usual as soon as the ice block was cracked open. The Ulefone Armor 3T was not damaged while cracking ice either. It is worth noting that these two phones are basically identical as far as the design is concerned, the only change comes to the top of the phone, as the Ulefone Armor 3T has a place where the antenna can be placed, as the Armor 3T can also serve you as a regular walkie-talkie, while the same cannot be said for the Armor 3. Both of these devices are rugged phones, both come with IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certification, which means not only that they are both water and dust resistant, but they’re also shockproof and can take a beating… and apparently can handle being frozen as well.

These two smartphones both come with a huge 10,300mAh battery, which is not removable, while they’re fueled by the MediaTek P23 64-bit octa-core processor. The two phones include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while they feature a 5.7-inch fullHD+ display. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on both devices, while both of them support dual 4G LTE connectivity. A single camera lies on the back of both of these devices, while it’s quite apparent these are rugged phones based on what they look like. If you’re interested in getting the Armor 3, you can now get it for $280, while the Armor 3T started shipping to those of you who got it via Indiegogo, as the device was crowdfunded.
