Possible Huawei P30 Pro Design Pointed At By Concept Render

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro cases leaked quite recently, and Ben Geskin has already created a render that is inspired by those case leaks. Mr. Geskin created a render of the Huawei P30 Pro, in specific, and he shared it via Twitter. We did not see leaks of the Huawei P30 Pro just yet, save for its case leaks, so this render may not be representative of what the final design will look like, but it may be close. As you can see, the source created a phone made out of metal and glass, which are almost certainly the materials that Huawei will use in order to bring this handset to life. The device features a teardrop notch on the front, and extremely thin bezels above and below the display, almost non-existent. It remains to be seen if the phone ends up sporting a teardrop notch, or will Huawei opt for a display camera hole, as its upcoming Huawei Nova 4 handset will ship with a display camera hole, and a number of other phones in 2019 will, including flagships.

It seems like this device does not have a curved display, but its on-display glass is curved. The power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons are all located on the right-hand side of the device, while you will notice that the back of the phone is curved as well. The designer opted for a gradient color combination on the back, utilizing blue, purple, and black colors, while you’ll notice that there are four cameras included on the back as well. Those four cameras are vertically aligned, Leica’s branding is included below them, while you will notice an LED flash next to those cameras, along with an additional sensor, which could be a laser autofocus sensor, or something of the sort.

Background: Huawei had recently introduced the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X and PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 20 handsets, its new flagships. The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are not expected to arrive anytime soon, as the P20 and P20 Pro arrived in March this year, so the P30 and P30 Pro are not expected to arrive before then. The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are expected to be very similar in terms of the design, though chances are that the P30 Pro will be a more powerful device, in the sense that it may ship with a better display, and a more compelling camera setup on the back. The device will be fueled by the Kirin 980 64-bit octa-core processor, that is a given, while it will ship with at least 6GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie out of the box, with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 9.0 skin on top of it. A large battery is also expected to be included in the package, same goes for fast wired and wireless charging.

Impact: The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro ended up being quite popular for the company, and the P20 Pro is still considered to be one of the best camera smartphones out there. Well, Huawei is expected to up the ante with the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, not only in the camera department but in general, and even though some leaks did surface already, we’re still waiting for some concrete info to come our way.
