The OUKITEL C11S is a new version of the OUKITEL C11 Pro handset, a version of the phone made for the US. The OUKITEL C11 Pro arrived back in October, as a budget device, while the OUKITEL C11 launched not soon after that. Both phones came with 4G LTE support and were compatible with networks in most countries, but not the US. Well, the OUKITEL C11S changes that, as it fully supports US carriers, and it will become available at the end of December, announced the company. The phone will be sold via Amazon, but we still do not know how much will it cost.
The OUKITEL C11S actually looks almost the same as the C11 Pro, and even specs for the most part, but there are some differences. Unlike the OUKITEL C11 Pro, the OUKITEL C11S does not sport a fingerprint scanner on the back, while network bands are also different. The OUKITEL C11S comes with support for the following bands: 2G: 850/900/1900/2100; 3G: 850/1700/1900; 4G 2/4/5/7/12/17. The OUKITEL C11S features a 5.5-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card). The phone is fueled by the MediaTek MT6739 64-bit quad-core processor, and it comes with a 3,400mAh battery on the inside. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the device, while an 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras sit on the back of the phone. A 2-megapixel camera is included on the front side of the phone, and as you can see based on the specs, this is an entry-level smartphone, so it will be extremely affordable.
As far as the design is concerned, this phone does not sport a display notch, but it does have some bezel above and below the display. The phone’s rear-facing cameras are horizontally-aligned, while its back side is curved. OUKITEL’s logo is imprinted on the back of the device, while the phone’s loudspeaker sits on the bottom. As already mentioned, this phone will become available via Amazon at the end of this month, while you can buy the OUKITEL C11 Pro (EU version of this phone) via OUKITEL’s official website.
