Huawei had announced recently that its P30 series of smartphones will be unveiled in Paris on March 26, and some info regarding one of the P30 series of smartphones has just surfaced. The Huawei P30 Lite has appeared on TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC), but not its full listing. The phone appeared with a model number “MAR-TL00”, and this listing does share some spec info, but not the phone’s design or anything of the sort.
According to this listing, the Huawei P30 Lite will include a 6.15-inch display, and even though the listing doesn’t reveal its resolution, it will almost certainly be a fullHD+ panel. The phone will also include a 3,240mAh battery, reveals the listing, while it will measure 152.9 x 72.7 x 7.4mm.
This listing also says that it will ship with Android, which is understandable, but it does not share what Android version will come pre-installed. Android 9 Pie will almost certainly ship on top of the P30 Lite, along with Huawei’s Android overlay.
It is worth noting that the P30 Lite will be the most affordable P30 series variant, as it will be inferior to the P30 and P30 Pro. The P30 and P30 Pro will be flagship handsets, while the P30 Lite will be their mid-range counterpart.
What Will It Look Like?
The Huawei P30 Lite renders have surfaced a couple of times thus far, so we have a pretty good idea as to what to expect, as those renders have mostly been consistent. The Huawei P30 Lite is expected to sport a tiny display notch, and a rather thin “chin” below the display. The phone will include a capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back, along with three rear-facing cameras.
Those three cameras will be located in the top-left portion of the phone’s back side, while an LED flash will be mixed in there as well, it will be placed in between top two cameras, and the bottom one, if renders are to be believed. All the physical keys will be placed on the right-hand side of the P30 Lite.
Other Specifications We’re Expecting To See
The Huawei P30 Lite will probably be fueled by the Kirin 710 64-bit octa-core processor, which is one of Huawei’s most powerful mid-range processors. The device will probably ship in at least two RAM variants, so 4GB and 6GB RAM models are a possibility, and each of those variants will come with different storage options.
Chances are that the Huawei P30 Lite will include an LCD display, not an OLED one, like the P30 and P30 Pro. The phone will at least be splash and dust resistant, though it’s possible Huawei will include a proper IP rating. The P30 Lite will likely come in both single and dual SIM variants, though it’s possible that Huawei will opt for a dual SIM model only.
We still do not know what cameras to expect on the P30 Lite, but some rumors claimed that the company will include 20, 16, and 2-megapixel cameras on the back of the P30 Lite, while a 24-megapixel unit is rumored to be included on the phone’s front side.
