EARLIER:Elephone’s brand new smartphone, the Elephone A6 Mini, is now available for pre-order from Coolicool. This is a brand new budget smartphone from the company, and it is now priced at $139.99 on Coolicool, during the pre-order period, though the company has announced that the price will drop even further, to $99.99, and that will probably happen during the day.
The phone comes in a single color variant, the so-called “Rainbow” edition (or as Elephone calls it, “Nebula”), and you can check out the device in the gallery down below. Four additional color variants are listed on the company’s website, but are not available via Coolicool, Blue, Black, Red, and Gray. The Elephone A6 Mini features two vertically-aligned cameras on the back, those two cameras are included in the top-left corner of the phone’s back side, while an LED flash sits below those two cameras.
Elephone’s logo is also located on the back of the phone, while you will notice a tiny display notch on the front. Right above that notch sits an earpiece, while a “chin” is included below the phone’s display. The display features rounded corners, which is the case with almost all modern smartphones.
The Elephone A6 Mini is fueled by the Helio A22, which is MediaTek’s 64-bit quad-core chip. The device features a 5.71-inch HD+ (1520 x 720) display, which comes down to a 19:9 display aspect ratio. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card), though only a variant with 64GB of storage is available via Coolicool at the moment.
A 3,180mAh battery is included in this package, and it is not removable. This smartphone does come with a fingerprint scanner, though that fingerprint scanner is located on the right-hand side of the device. The phone also supports facial scanning, while Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on the phone.
16 and 2-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the Elephone A6 Mini, while a single 16-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side.
