The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are right around the corner, and some more spec info surfaced on WinFuture website, revealing more details when it comes to those two phones. The source included some detailed camera information, along with battery info, color variants, and more.

According to the source, the Huawei P30 will sport a 6.1-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) OLED display, while the P30 Pro will ship with a 6.47-inch fullHD (2340 x 1080) OLED panel. Both phones will be fueled by the Kirin 980 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Huawei’s most powerful processor at the moment. It is worth noting that this is a 7nm processor.

The Huawei P30 will include 6GB of RAM, according to the source, while the P30 Pro will ship with 8GB of RAM. In addition to that, the P30 will also sport 128GB of storage, while the P30 Pro will arrive in three storage options, in 128GB, 256GB, an 512GB storage variants.

Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on both smartphones, along with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 9.1 Android overlay. A 3,650mAh battery will be included in the smaller P30 smartphone, while the P30 Pro will ship with a 4,200mAh unit. Both devices are said to be IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, while both of them will arrive in both single and dual SIM variants.

An NFC chip will be included in both devices, while both phones will support SuperCharge, Huawei’s proprietary fast charging technology. A 32-megapixel camera is expected to be included on the front side of both of these phones, but the two devices will be different when it comes to rear-facing cameras.

Both phones will sport three cameras on the back, if the source is to be believed. The Huawei P30 will sport 40-megapixel (f/1.8 aperture), 16-megapixel (wide-angle lens), and 8-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture) cameras. The Huawei P30 Pro, on the other hand, will ship with 40-megapixel (f/1.6 aperture), 20-megapixel (wide-angle lens), 8-megapixel cameras. The P30 Pro cameras will offer 10x hybrid zoom technology, while a Time-of-Flight sensor will be included in the package as well. Both devices will include Leica’s lenses.

They will look similar, but not identical

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will utilize a similar design language, but they will not be identical in that regard. The Huawei P30 will ship with a flat display, while the P30 Pro will include a curved panel. Both devices will feature a thin “chin” below the display, though, while a tiny display notch will be included on both phones as well.

Considering that fingerprint scanners are not visible anywhere on these two phones, it’s safe to assume they will be included below the display, though it remains to be seen if Huawei will utilize optical or ultrasonic fingerprint scanners.

The back side will be curved on both devices, while cameras on both phones will be included in the top-left corner, and will be vertically aligned. An LED flash will sit below their cameras. Both devices will be announced on March 26 in Paris, along with the Huawei P30 Lite mid-ranger.
