AGM's JBL-Branded Phones Coming To Hong Kong Exhibition

AGM has announced that JBL-tuned smartphones will make an appearance at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics Show which is about to start in a couple of days. The show will start on April 18, and it will last until April 21, while it will be hosted in Hong Kong, as per usual. AGM’s booth number is 5B36, just in case you’re around and want to swing by to see what the company has to offer.

The company introduced the AGM X3 and A9 smartphones a while back, and the AGM A9 has four speakers, with speakers tuned by JBL. AGM says that both devices were quite popular with “audiophiles”, and the company also claims that the A9 has been doing really good in terms of sales.

The AGM A9 is a rugged phone which definitely looks like it can take a hit. The phone includes a single camera on the back, while its LED flash and fingerprint scanner are located right below that camera, along with JBL’s logo.

That handset is both IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certified, while a 5,400mAh non-removable battery is also a part of the package. That battery and the phone support Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging by Qualcomm, while the phone also has “Glove Mode”, for those scenarios you have gloves on.

The phone features a 5.99-inch fullHD+ display, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 450 64-bit octa-core processor. The device comes in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants, while it has a built-in antenna for FM radio.

The AGM X3, on the other hand, is also IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certified, but it looks more like a regular phone than a rugged one, even though it can take a hit as well. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, and it is more powerful than the AGM A9.

This handset also supports Quick Charge 3.0, but it also supports wireless charging, and ships with a 4,100mAh battery. It has two cameras on the back, 12 and 24-megapixel units, while a single 20-megapixel camera is located on its front side. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, while the device features a 5.99-inch fullHD+ display.

The AGM X3 also has a fingerprint scanner on the back, while the phone’s back side is curved. The device has bezels above and below the display, though it doesn’t necessarily looks like a rugged phone, despite the fact it is, which is a good thing. You will be to check out both of these phones in Hong Kong in a couple of days, and in addition to them, AGM will also bring a 4G version of the AGM M5 to the show, in addition to the AGM M3. The AGM M3 is made for users in Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
