Netease’s hit battle royale game Creative Destruction Advance now features the Transformers character Bumblebee, courtesty of a brand new mode called Battlefield.
This casts teams of two in a battle to destroy the Transformer. One player drives a vehicle while the other fires the weapon. If you do manage to destroy Bumblebee, your team takes over playing as the Transformer.
At that point, your goal changes to collecting energy while fighting off the opposition. Once you’ve gained enough energy you can transform into Bumblebee’s robot mode and unleash destruction on all opponents.
This new mode brings with it new suits, weapons, skins, destructor, pendants, and more new content. If you invite a friend to play, you’ll earn extra rewards too. So it incentivizes playing with friends.
Creative Destruction Advance is Netease’s answer to Fortnite. You’ll battle it out with up to 100 players to be the last mans standing on a massive 4×4 fully destructible map. You can play on a pre-generated map or create your own too.
The goal is similar to Fortnite. You can build stuff to defend yourself, destroy enemy’s buildings, and collect a variety of weapons to destroy everyone with. It’s a lot of fun like that.
Netease also releases a variety of limited mode vents too. So far there’s been a Soccer mode, which riffs on Rocket League, and Warmobile, which is basically World of Tanks Blitz. Most recently, Battlefield has made it into the game, which features Bumblebee from The Transformers.
