Following leaked press renders of the Galaxy Note10 from earlier this morning, some images have now leaked which are alleged to be press renders of the Galaxy Note10+, Samsung’s slightly more powerful version of the upcoming smartphone.
Samsung has already confirmed that it will be holding its Galaxy Unpacked event next month on August 7 when it sent out invites to press, showing off part of the S Pen in a short video clip which also confirms the arrival of the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ at the event and positioning both of those as the main announcement for the show, though there will likely be other devices announced alongside the phone as well.
As for the colors, it appears that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Note10+ in Black, and Silver Prism which will give the backside of the phone a sort of rainbow color effect. What seems a bit odd is that the S Pen matches the color of the phone for the Black model but the Silver Prism version of the phone appears to come with a Blue S Pen instead of one that has the same Silver Prism color. Even if this is intentional, Samsung usually matches up the colors it’s just a bit strange it would choose not to do so this time with at least one model.
Along with the leaked renders, which show four rear cameras, one that looks like it’s sandwiched between two LED flash modules and three in the main camera housing, there are some specs that are now confirmed details of the hardware for the upcoming phone thanks to what can be seen in the images.
The Galaxy Note10+ also comes with a punch-hole style camera on the front and has no fingerprint sensor anywhere on the device suggesting that it will come with the same ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor that Samsung has already used on the Galaxy S10 series launched earlier this year, leaving a clean design on the back and more overall usable screen space on the front.
Rumored specs for the Galaxy Note10+ include a 675-inch display with QHD+ resolution using Samsung’s Super AMOLED screen technology, a Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9825 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and a 48-megapixel camera sensor for the main camera, though other rumors suggest the camera will be the same 12-megapixel sensor as on the Galaxy S10.
Samsung will also reportedly use a 10-megapixel sensor for the punch-hole style camera on the front, and incorporate a 4,500mAh battery that support 25W rapid charging so you can boost your phone’s battery in a quick pinch if you’re running out of power.
For the most part, the renders for the Galaxy Note10+ look just about the same as those for the earlier leaked Galaxy Note10, save for the fourth camera sensor on the back and the second LED flash. Both versions of the phone also appear to come in the same two colors which isn’t too shocking since the two are almost indistinguishable from each other and will likely only have a few small differences.
