A couple of days ago, Evan Blass aka @evleaks shared a sketch of the alleged OnePlus 7T Pro. That being said, the regular OnePlus 7T just appeared online in a number of renders (both images and video). Those renders have been shared by Pricebaba and @OnLeaks, as part of a new partnership.
These renders are based on CAD images, and chances are they’re quite accurate. @OnLeaks had partnered with a number of outlets in the past to reveal the design of upcoming phones, and it’s usually spot on.
Three cameras on the back
It seems like the back side of the OnePlus 7T will look the same as the one on the OnePlus 7T. We’re getting a brand new circular camera setup on the back, inside of which you’ll notice three cameras.
Those three cameras are horizontally-aligned, and an LED flash sits below the camera in the middle. OnePlus’ logo is located below the phone’s camera setup, and the back side of the device features rounded edges.
The power / lock button, and an alert slider are located on the right. An alert slider sits above the power / lock key. The volume up and down buttons can be found on the right. This phone will feature a waterdrop display notch, just like the OnePlus 7, it seems. The phone’s chin will be a hair thinner than the rest of its bezels, and the display will feature rounded corners.
6.5-inch display expected
The source also notes that the company plans to launch a OnePlus 7T McLaren “Senna” Edition. No details have been shared when it comes to that device, though. The OnePlus 7T’s display will measure approximately 6.5 inches (rectangular measurement), claims the source. It also notes that it will measure 6.4 inches in rounded corners measurement.
The OnePlus 7T measures 161.2 x 74.5 x 8.3mm, the source says. A Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of the phone, along with a speaker grill. A SIM card tray will also be located on the bottom of the device, and a 3.5mm headphone jack will not be included.
The OnePlus 7T and its siblings, the OnePlus 7T Pro, are expected to arrive on September 26. The two phones are expected to be launched with the OnePlus TV in India. The US and European launches will follow in October, if rumors are to be believed.
The OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 Plus, almost certainly. The OnePlus 7T is expected to start at 6GB RAM, but an 8GB RAM variant will probably be available as well. The device will feature a fullHD+ Optic AMOLED display, and at least 128GB of storage. It is possible that the base model will include 256GB of storage, instead of 128GB, we’ll see.
We still do not have any information regarding the phone’s camera setup, no details surfaced. Chances are that the device will include a telephoto and an ultrawide camera on the back, in addition to the main sensor. Android 10 will probably come pre-installed on the two phones, if OnePlus manages to get it out the door in time for the launch of these two phones.
