The OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro are expected to launch on September 26. This is all rumored info at this point, but Ishan Agarwal has just reconfirmed it.
He went to Twitter to confirm that the two phones will become official on September 26 in New Delhi. India will be the first country these two devices will launch in, after which the US and European launches will follow in early October.
OnePlus 7T coming with a large 90Hz display
Mr. Agarwal also shared some spec info for the smaller OnePlus 7T handset. According to what he said, the OnePlus 7T will feature a 6.55-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display.
That display will offer 90Hz refresh rate, just like the OnePlus 7 Pro. He also said that the phone will have a smaller notch compared to the OnePlus 7.
This is quite interesting, as the OnePlus 7 featured a 6.41-inch fullHD+ Optic AMOLED panel with 60Hz refresh rate. The smaller OnePlus 7T phone will have a huge display, it seems, and a considerably better one compared to the OnePlus 7.
In addition to that, Ishan Agarwal also said that the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 Plus. A 3,800mAh battery will be included in the package as well. He did not mention fast charging, but you will get Dash Charge here, probably 30W one, like on the OnePlus 7 Pro.
On the back, the device will feature three cameras. Just for comparison’s sake, the OnePlus 7 included two cameras back there.
You will get 48, 16, and 12-megapixel cameras on the back of this phone. A 16-megapixel camera will be included on the phone’s front side.
The phone will be able to capture wide-angle video, and the source says that Nightscape mode will be included here as well, which is expected.
960FPS slow-motion video in tow
Interestingly enough. Mr. Agarwal also says that the OnePlus 7T will be able to shoot 960FPS slow-motion video. A 10-second clip will be possible in that mode. This is a considerable improvement over the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, as those two phones offered 480FPS slow-motion video (in 720p)
We’re not sure if 960FPS video recording will be possible in fullHD mode, or just in HD mode, but regardless, it’s a nice addition.
That is pretty much all the info that the source shared. The OnePlus 7T Pro will feature a larger display than the OnePlus 7T. In addition to that, it will include a larger battery, and probably will not sport a display notch. The OnePlus 7T’s design actually leaked quite recently, if you’d like to check it out.
