If you’re planning on picking up the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the Galaxy Note 10+ or even the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, then here’s what you need to know when it comes to how much they all cost and where you can buy them.
First up, you can’t actually buy any of them until the Galaxy Note 10 series officially goes on sale on August 23 in the US. However, starting tomorrow and in the run-up to August 23 you will be able to pre-order all three Galaxy Note 10 phones.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 comes in at $949.99 in the US. This is for the standard version with the largest Galaxy Note 10+’s pricing starting at $1099.99. Unlike the non-Plus version, the Galaxy Note 10+ is available in different storage options so the final price will depend on which customizations are chosen, as well as where the device is purchased from.
Samsung will of course be selling all three phones via its own online store presence although the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will also be widely available through carriers and retailers. At the carrier level, Samsung has confirmed AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless and Xfinity Mobile will all carry both phones. At the retailer level, you’ll be able to pick either main Galaxy Note 10 model through Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, and Walmart.
Those opting to go the Best Buy route (or directly through Samsung) will also have the added option of choosing an Aura Blue model. Otherwise, both main models can be picked up in either an Aura Glow, Aura White or Aura Black color.
When it comes to the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G the choices are a little more limited as Samsung has now confirmed there’s a limited-time exclusivity period in effect with Verizon at the carrier level. It is currently unclear when this period ends but once it does then the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G will also be available to purchase through AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
Like the main two options, the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G will be available to buy on August 23 although it is the most expensive Galaxy Note 10 model with the 5G’s version starting at $1,299.99.
Those who do opt to take advantage of the pre-order period will be able to also take advantage of a couple of early-backer perks. For example, buying the Galaxy Note 10 gives you $100 Samsung credit which can be used on other purchases, while opting for either the Galaxy Note 10+ or the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G sees that credit limit increased to $150.
These credit lines can then be used to create what Samsung refers to as a “Galaxy kit” which for example means while one buyer can opt for a Wireless Charging Duo pad, another can use the credit towards a Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch.
Anyone looking to trade-in a smartphone when making a Galaxy Note 10 series purchase will be happy to know that Samsung is offering up to $600 on trade-ins.
Obviously, the exact value will depend on the phone model and condition and more details on the trade-in are available from Samsung.com.
