Following the black Google Pixel 4 XL that appeared yesterday, a white one has just surfaced as well. Yesterday’s leak appeared in the form of a video, and the same happened this time around as well.
In addition to a short hands-on video with the white Pixel 4 XL, several images have also been shared. You can check out those images in the gallery down below, while the video is embedded below the article.
This leak does not really reveal anything we haven’t known already, but it does give you a good look at the phone. You can get a better look at the phone’s camera setup on the back, as the white color contrasts that camera setup.
Metal + glass build for both Pixel 4 handsets
The Google Pixel 4 XL will be made out of metal and glass, just like the regular Pixel 4. The two phones will actually be the same in terms of the design, it seems. The Pixel 4 XL will be larger of the two, though, of course.
The power / lock button will be placed on the right-hand side of the device. Right below that button, you will notice the volume up and down physical keys.
The Pixel 4 XL’s camera setup will protrude on the back, and it will include three cameras, and an LED flash. Google’s branding is included on the back, but it’s not flashy at all.
As you can see, the phone’s top bezel will be noticeably thicker than the bottom one. There’s actually a good reason for that. In addition to two cameras, Google will also pack in quite a few sensors up there.
Motion Sense
The company is planning to offer the so-called “Motion Sense” feature on the Pixel 4 series. That essentially means that you’ll get some advanced air gesture capabilities, radar gestures, if you will.
This is being done thanks to Google’s Project Soli which has been in motion for quite some time now. This has not been completely confirmed yet, but the company did tease such functionality.
The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will probably become official next month, though a release date hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
The two devices are expected to ship with the Snapdragon 855 Plus 64-bit octa-core processor. Each of them will include at least 6GB of RAM, though more than one variant is a possibility.
Android 10 will come pre-installed on the two phones, of course. These two devices are expected to offer great cameras, as their predecessors did. Fast charging will be included, and the same goes for wireless charging. Don’t expect to see a 3.5mm headphone jack on either of these two phones, though.
