The Huawei P40 Pro is not expected to arrive until late March, and yet it has appeared in new renders. Do note that these are not leaked renders, but renders created based on leaks. These renders basically show us what the Huawei P40 Pro could look like.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the alleged P40 Pro in two color variants. These two images come from 9TechEleven and Teme.
The Huawei P40 Pro actually leaked in renders not long ago, courtesy of @OnLeaks. Those renders were extremely dark, and we did not really get a chance to take a proper look at the phone.
In his tweet, Teme says that he designed this phone, and it was rendered by 9TechEleven. These renders are based on information that Teme has regarding the device, so this design could be very close to the final product.
The Huawei P40 Pro could look like the Galaxy S10+, to a degree
These two renders show us that the Huawei P40 Pro could look like the Galaxy S10+, kind of. The device shown here has a pill-shaped display camera hole, just like the Galaxy S10+, but on the opposite side.
As you can see, that hole is in the top-left corner of the phone’s display. Bezels are basically non-existent, while the phone’s display offers rounded corners. That display is curved, by the way.
All the physical keys are located on the right. The volume up, volume down, and power / lock buttons. The phone’s back side is curved as well, while Huawei’s logo sits on the back.
The phone is shown in what seems to be a dark blue-gray color, and some sort of a gradient mix of colors. This phone has five cameras on the back, and an LED flash.
One of those cameras is a periscope-style unit. That means that the P40 Pro will include a camera with crazy zoom capabilities, like the Huawei P30 Pro. The Galaxy S11+ is also said to include such a camera, by the way.
It will include an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a large display
The phone will ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner, probably an optical one. Earlier rumors claimed that the device will include a display that measures between 6.5 and 6.7 inches in diagonal.
The phone will include a Type-C USB port, and no 3.5mm headphone jack. The Kirin 990 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this phone, while the device will include 5G connectivity.
Android 10 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with EMUI 10 skin. Google services probably won’t be included on the device, at least unless Huawei gets removed from the US blacklist. The Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will become official at the end of March, the company’s CEO confirmed.
