PUBG MOBILE Turns 2 Soon, Celebrates With Return Of Hardcore Mode

PUBG MOBILE developers have listened to their fans and player base by bringing Hardcore Mode back to the game.

The return of this chaotic mode is part of the celebration of the game’s second birthday. Which happens to be coming up in the very near future. Hardcore Mode isn’t the only thing being added to the game though.

It might be the main focal point of this massive collection of new content, but players will be able to dive into all sorts of new stuff. As Hardcore Mode is just the beginning.

In addition to Hardcore Mode, PUBG MOBILE gets a new Royale Pass & more

The new Royale Pass is on the way for season 12, and with it comes new weapons and gear to unlock. Alongside many other in-game items that you may want to get your hands on.

There’s a new Air Drop weapon to seek out as well. The DBS is a double-barreled shotgun that promises to do some pretty devastating damage to your enemies. It was designed to deliver heavy impact damage, but at a closer range.

Which means you will still want to search for something that can do more damage at a longer distance to close the gap. Then you can swap to the DBS as needed and wreak havoc.

In addition, players will now be able to access a new system called Brothers In Arms. This lets you register as either a rookie player or a veteran player. Rookies can be matched up with veterans who can then act as a sort of guide or sherpa through the content.

Te Death Replay function is enabled

Last week, PUBG Corp. and Tencent confirmed the arrival of a new anti-cheat feature called Death Replay, and said that it would be arriving in a future update.

That time is now as the feature should be active for all players. Going forward, when you enter a match and are then taken out by an opponent, the Death Replay will kick in and you can see things from the opponent’s perspective for a short period of time.

All in the name of helping to identify cheaters and get them banned from the game.

Royale Pass Season 12 unlocks on March 9

while some of the new update content is already in the game, the season 12 Royale Pass isn’t arriving until next Monday which is March 9.

The good news is that you now still have a week to gain a few more unlocks from Royale Pass season 11 if you haven’t already obtained everything. So if you’re missing something you want, use this next week to grind out some matches and work towards it.

And next Thursday, PUBG MOBILE will get a limited time Amusement Park Mode with interactive games and attractions taking place on the Erangel map.
