Redmi Note 9 Pro Specs Leak; Quad Camera Setup & Large Battery Coming

Redmi had recently confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 series will arrive on March 12. Well, the Redmi Note 9 Pro specs have just surfaced, suggesting a quad camera setup, and more.

This information comes from Ishan Agarwal, a well-known tipster. He shared this information via Twitter, revealing quite a few information regarding the Redmi Note 9 Pro specifications.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch fullHD+ display, claims the source. That display will be protected by the Gorilla Glass 5, and we’re looking at a 20:9 aspect ratio here. It will be an LCD display, by the way.

The phone will be available in two variants, at least in India, where it’s set to launch initially. The base model will sport 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. A 6GB RAM variant with 128GB of storage will also be available, though.

Leaked specs suggest the Redmi Note 9 Pro will include a quad camera setup on the back

According to the shared specs, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will offer a quad camera setup on the back, including a 48-megapixel main camera. On top of that, it will sport an 8-megapixel ultrawide unit, a 5-megapixel macro unit, and a depth camera.

A 16-megapixel camera will be placed on the front side of the phone. That camera will be included in the display, as the device is said to sport a display camera hole. We’re presuming that hole will be placed in the top-left corner.

The Snapdragon 720G is said to fuel the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The device will also ship with a 5,020mAh battery, which will not be removable. The device will support 18W wired charging, if the source is to be believed.

Mr. Agarwal also mentioned that the device will arrive in three color variants. You can expect to be able to choose between Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black color options.

The phone will launch in India on March 12, but it will be available in a number of markets around the world. The phone is expected to arrive to Europe soon after that.

The device appeared on Geekbench not long ago

This device popped up on Geekbench earlier this month. That listing confirmed that a 6GB RAM variant of the phone is coming. It also confirmed that Android 10 will come pre-installed on it. You can also expect MIUI 11 to be a part of the package.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is expected to have a square camera module on the back, with two cameras in each row. The phone will be made out of metal and glass, by the way.

The device will feature a flat display, but its back side will be curved. You can expect the Redmi Note 9 Pro to be quite slippery, similar to the regular Redmi Note 9 which is also expected to arrive on March 12.
