OnePlus had confirmed that it will host an online-only pop-up event after the OnePlus 8 series launch. Well, Evan Blass has just revealed the OnePlus 8 series pop-up box contents via Patreon.
The company usually hosts physical pop-up events in a number of cities across the globe. The current health situation in the world prevents the company to do that, so it decided to do it online only.
Here are the contents of the OnePlus 8 series pop-up box
Well, it seems like quite a few goodies will be included inside of the OnePlus 8 series pop-up box. This particular pop-up box seems to be for the OnePlus 8 Pro, not the regular model. Do note that the regular model will also be available.
In any case, you’ll notice the phone itself here, along with the included silicone case. OnePlus has been including its own silicone case for years now, so this is not really surprising. That case will almost certainly be included in a regular retail box as well.
In addition to that, you’ll notice some cases here as well. We’re not sure if you’ll be able to choose them or not, but you probably are. In this particular image, we’re seeing the Sandstone Bumper case in two colors, along with the Karbon Bumper case in two colors.
In addition to all that, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones are also included. Those are the earphones that the company is expected to announce tomorrow.
Retail box of the ‘Pro’ variant also surfaced
In addition to the pop-up box contents, a regular retail box has also surfaced, separately. You can see it in the pop-up box contents as well, but if you take a look at the image provided below this paragraph, you’ll see a separate leak.
This leak gives you a far better look at the box. You can see OnePlus’ new design here, the box is now mostly red, with black letters on it. Before, it was mostly white, with some red accents.
The name of the device is written on the side, and this happens to be the retail box of the OnePlus 8 Pro. A large number ‘8’ is placed on the front, and it’s supposed to symbolize the OnePlus 8 series of devices.
OnePlus will announce its OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones tomorrow, along with some other devices. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z earphones will become official, along with screen protectors, and some cases. The company’s very first wireless charger will launch as well.
The OnePlus 8 Pro will actually become the very first smartphone from the company to offer an official IP rating. It will also be the first phone from the company to support wireless charging.
The company’s press conference will begin at 8AM PST / 5PM CET tomorrow if you’d like to tune in. The pop-up event will start right after the event, so keep that in mind.
