The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is now available from both Amazon and Samsung.com for $649.
That puts it in a rather tough spot actually, seeing as the Galaxy S10 is now $599 and the Galaxy S10+ is now $699. And both of those have better specs than the Galaxy S10 Lite.
However, if you are buying it from Amazon, then this is a really good phone to buy. For $649, you can get a free pair of Galaxy Buds as well. Which is a $129 value. Sadly, they are not the newer Galaxy Buds+ truly wireless headphones.
Over at Samsung.com, they are offering up to $250 off via a trade-in. Which is technically the better deal, as you can get it for just $399, but that is if you have a phone to trade in that is worth the full $250.
Here are the specs
The Galaxy S10 Lite spec sheet is a cross between a mid-range and a high-end device. It sports the Snapdragon 855 chipset inside, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That line is the same as the Galaxy S10e actually.
There is a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display on-board, as well as a triple camera setup around back.
That triple camera setup includes a 48-megapixel main sensor that does have PDAF and Super Steady OIS. Then there is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor included. There’s no telephoto here, unfortunately.
This is all powered by a 4500mAh capacity battery that should get you through a full day and then some. With that FHD+ display, you will likely get better battery life than the Galaxy S20+ which has the same size display. This is because the Galaxy S10 Lite does not sport a 120Hz display, instead it is stuck at 60Hz.
Where can I buy the Galaxy S10 Lite?
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is available in a few places. Like Amazon, Best Buy and Samsung.com. The prices are the same, but the freebies are a bit different. As mentioned, Samsung is offering up to $250 off with trade-in. And Amazon is offering a free pair of Galaxy Buds with your purchase.
Best Buy is offering up to $200 off with qualified activation. So if you are looking to activate it on Verizon or AT&T today, then Best Buy is your better bet here. Because you don’t need to trade in your phone to get it for just $499. At that price, this makes the phone definitely worth picking up.
