The Google Pixel 4a design and dimensions have just been revealed by Pigtou. The source shared CAD-based renders of Google’s upcoming smartphone, while sharing the phone dimensions based on them. It did that in collaboration with David from xleaks7.

As you can see, the Pixel 4a will be made out of polycarbonate, just like its predecessor. The phone will retain a headphone jack, which will be placed at the top. A capacitive fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package, and it will be placed on the back.
A single camera will sit on the back as well, along with an LED flash, and Google’s branding. That branding will be really subtle, though. On this dark gray smartphone, a black-colored logo is placed.
The power / lock buttons will sit on the right side, along with the volume up and down buttons. The phone’s camera module will protrude just a little bit on the back, by the way. The phone’s sides will be fairly rounded, so the phone should be easy to grip.
A SIM card tray will be placed on the left side of the phone. On the bottom, you’ll find a Type-C USB port, and two speaker grille for the phone’s main speaker.
The device will include a flat display, and its bezels will be fairly thin. A display camera hole will be a part of the package, though, and it will sit in the top-left corner of the phone’s display.
The device will include a 5.83-inch display, and the source claims that the phone will measure 144.18 x 69.46 x 8.2mm. If you do count in the camera bump, its thickness goes up to 9.13mm.
The source also has the exact size of that camera base. It measures 19.4 x 19.4 x 0.93mm, in case you were wondering. Pigtou did not share the weight of the device, though. That is pretty much it as far as the Pixel 4a design and dimensions are concerned.
The phone is expected to launch at the end of this month
Pigtou notes that the phone will probably become official on May 22, and should cost around $399. The device will probably include a fullHD+ OLED display, though Pigtou seems to think it will be an HD+ panel.
We do hope that won’t be the case, as it will be a sore point for the phone. A 12.2-megapixel camera will sit on the back of this phone, the same camera as on the Pixel 4 and 4 XL.
A single 8-megapixel camera will be placed on the front side of the device, while a 3,080mAh battery will also be included in the package. The Snapdragon 730 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this smartphone.
The device will arrive in two storage options, 64GB and 128GB models will be at your disposal. Both of those variants are expected to include 6GB of RAM, even though the source mentions 4GB of RAM. If you’d like to know more about the device, check out our preview.
