Reelgood App Is Now Available For Android TV

Reelgood TV app offers a platform on Android TV to consolidate all of your streaming services into one place. With so many different streaming services out there this is an innovative platform that should save time for users searching for what to watch.

9to5 has reported the launch of this new app pointing out its convenience. When the app launched on Roku it turned out to be more convenient than the company’s own app. It cut down time on searching and streamlined the process of finding what to watch.

What is Reelgood TV?

In short, Reelgood is a free app which allows you to put all of your streaming services in one place. The idea being that this will make it easier to find what you are looking for.

This is not an entirely new concept with the TiVo’s Stream 4K dongle offering this as a feature. However, Reelgood is not tied down to a single piece of hardware which sets it apart.

After downloading Reelgood TV you have to inform the app of which streaming services you use.

It supports pretty much every major streaming services including, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime, TV+ HBO Max, Showtime, and Crunchyroll. It will also offer you many more if you use something a bit more niche.

After you have done this you simply browse through the app which has all of your shows in one place.

Once you find something you want the watch the app supplies as shortcut to access the streaming service required. Therefore, streamlining the process of finding something to watch.

Reelgood will also show you the IMDB rating for each show to give you that bit more information. The app also provides casts for each show as well as trailers and other information.

Reelgood now available on Android TV

Reelgood has been available as a mobile app for some time. Overall the reception it has received has been positive meaning it has taken the step to become functional on Android TV. However, it is making its debut on the platform at the same time as Amazon’s Fire TV.

Whether it will be able to stand up to such competition in term of recognition remains to be seen.

Hopefully, it will not be pushed to the back by bigger companies and platforms. It seems to be a really useful platform that many will find helpful in streamlining their search for TV to watch on streaming services.
