Samsung Galaxy Buds Live Certified Along With Fitness Tracker

The new Samsung Galaxy Buds Live have been spotted being certified as reported by 91 Mobile. A new fitness tracker was also noted alongside them which could be the successor to the Galaxy Fit wearable. However, there are few details available on this.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live are nearing their launch which is expected to be sometime in July. A lot of speculation and rumor has followed this device around. This has sped up a lot in recent days and weeks with a leak giving us our first glimpse at the buds.

Galaxy Buds Live move a step closer to release

The Galaxy Buds Live are likely the true successor to the original Galaxy Buds. This certification moves them one step closer to their impending launch which is likely to occur sometime in July.

Alongside the Galaxy Buds Live, a new fitness tracker is also likely to be released but much less is known about this wearable. The chances are that these devices will release before the Galaxy Note 20 on August 5. However, no one knows exactly when.

Both of these devices have now received their MIIT certification. The Galaxy Buds Live possess the model number SM-R180. This corresponds with the model number previously linked to the new bean-shaped earbuds.

The tipster also saw a fitness tracker getting certification on the FCC. It has also Korean NRRA certification with the model number SM-R220.

Getting certificated is an important step in the development of the Galaxy Buds Live. However, as is customary in this situation the certification tells us little about specifications and the like.

What to expect from the Galaxy Buds Live

However, from other leaks, we do have a reasonable idea of what the buds will look like. This certification is simply a useful indicator that launch is getting closer for the device.

Leaked renders of the Galaxy Buds Live have given us a good indication of what to expect from the earbuds. They show a glossy finish on top of the bean-shaped wearable earpieces.

They will likely come in black and white color variants with a TWS case shows two LEDs for demonstrating chagrin status. The fitness tracker, however, is much more shrouded in secrecy.

The FCC filing shows a diagram of what the wearable will look like. However, this only shows a generic design with a heart rate sensor. Apart from this, there is no other unique detail to get excited about.

These certifications indicate that we will be getting the launch of both of these devices soon. Rumors had hinted at a July launch had but this all but confirms these devices will be coming soon. Now is the time to keep our ears to the ground for any last-minute leaks before an official announcement.
