We are fast approaching Samsung’s Unpacked event, where the Korean OEM is expected to release quite a handful of products. Notably, the event is slated for August 5, 2020. It is expected to unveil Note 20 series phones, Galaxy Buds Live, a new Galaxy Watch, and Samsung Galaxy S7-series tablets.
Several leaks and rumors have already confirmed the specs and details of Galaxy Note 20 series devices. However, this time around a Google blunder has revealed all the hardware specifications of the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+.
As per the source, both the tablets appeared on the Google Play Console. Now we have all the details regarding the specification of the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+. This new tablet family includes two models, the 11-inch Tab S7 and 12.4-inch Tab S7+. Notably, there will be two variants i.e. a WiFi model and an LTE model of the duo. Besides, the Galaxy Tab S7 will be available in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + LTE variants. While the Galaxy Tab S7+ will be available in Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi + LTE, and Wi-Fi + LTE + 5G variants.
Both Galaxy Tab S7 tablets will feature Snapdragon 865 Plus processor and 120 Hz displays
The new tablets from Samsung will come equipped with a 120 Hz super-smooth display. On top of that, the duo will be powered by Snapdragon 865 Plus processors, which is the first for any Android tablet. Moreover, the Galaxy Tab S7/S7+ also supports 45W fast charging, which seems like the company is definitely trying to put Galaxy Tab S-series in line with the iPads.
The Tab S7+ is listed to sport 8GB of RAM while the younger sibling, the Tab S7 will be capped at 6 GB RAM. As far as the resolution of the displays is concerned, Galaxy Tab S7 will have 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, while Tab S7+ will sport a higher resolution of 2,800 x 1,752 pixels. Note that the Galaxy S7 will come with an LCD panel while Galaxy Tab S7+ will feature an AMOLED panel.
Besides, both the Galaxy Tab S7/S7+ will come with Adreno 650 GPU and Android 10 operating system on top. It is not sure which version of the One UI they will come pre-installed with. The smaller Tab S7 will house a 7040 mAh battery. And the Tab S7+ will feature a larger 10,090 mAh battery. However, nothing related to price and availability has been leaked as of yet. To confirm all of that, we will have to wait for the Unpacked event.
