Tipster Believes The Samsung Galaxy Note Lineup Is Staying Put

A well-known tipster, Ice Universe, believes that the Samsung Galaxy Note lineup is staying put. As most of you probably already know, a rather interesting report surfaced yesterday.

That report said that the Galaxy Note lineup may become a thing of the past. It added that the S Pen will ship with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The report also said that the Galaxy Note lineup will be replaced by the Galaxy Fold lineup.

That change is rumored to happen next year, in case you were wondering. That report seemed fishy from the get-go, as the Galaxy Note lineup is extremely popular.

Samsung ships around 10 million of ‘Galaxy Note’ devices from August to December every year.

Tipster says that the Samsung Galaxy Note lineup is staying put

My colleague wrote a nice piece explaining why the Galaxy Note series isn’t going away, and Ice Universe just offered his view of things. He doesn’t believe it will happen either.

He said that even if the Galaxy S21 Ultra ends up using the S Pen, he doesn’t believe the Galaxy Note lineup is going anywhere. His opinion doesn’t seem to be backed by a tip he received, though, but by sheer logic.

He added that the output and price of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are not enough to replace the Galaxy Note lineup as the company’s main flagship of H2 2021. That is true, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be extremely expensive, and Samsung won’t manufacture that many of those phones.

Even though the Galaxy Z Fold lineup is getting more popular by the day, the Galaxy Note lineup is still amongst the most popular smartphone lineups in the world. That won’t change anytime soon.

This lineup basically represents guaranteed sales for the company

The Galaxy Note lineup represents guaranteed sales for the company, basically. Even though that lineup of devices may go away at some point in the future, it sure doesn’t seem like it will happen in 2021.

Samsung released two Galaxy Note devices this year, and it seems like initial reactions are quite positive. People seem to be considerably more interested in the ‘Ultra’ model. We’ll have to wait for some actual sales numbers to surface to be sure.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a noticeably more premium device than its sibling. It comes with a sharper display that offers a high refresh rate. On top of that, it has a better camera setup, and a glass back. The Galaxy Note 20 ships with a plastic back, in case you were unaware.
