OnePlus 8T Price Leaks, And It May Disappoint You

The OnePlus 8T price tags have just surfaced, and they may disappoint you. This information comes from Chun, a tipster who shared the info via Twitter.

Price tags for both OnePlus 8T variants have surfaced

According to him, the OnePlus 8T will cost €799 in Europe, for the 8GB RAM variant, which will ship with 128GB of storage. The 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage will cost €899.

He did mention that he still “has some doubts”, so take this information with a grain of salt. These price tags do make some sense, though. The OnePlus /T was €100 cheaper than the OnePlus 7 Pro (8GB RAM variants) last year.

Those of you who are wondering about the OnePlus 8T Pro, well… it doesn’t seem like the phone will launch at all. A well-known tipster, Max J., said that the phone isn’t coming at all.

The alleged OnePlus 8T Pro guide did surface on the company’s website, though. That guide could have something to do with the ‘OnePlus 8T Limited Edition’ that Evan Blass mentioned yesterday, though. We’ll have to wait and see.

OnePlus announced yesterday that the OnePlus 8T will launch on October 14. The device will become official during an online-only event, and it may not be the only hardware announcement of the day.

The OnePlus Buds Z are rumored to arrive as well. Those will be a cheaper alternative to the OnePlus Buds that the company announced earlier this year.

The company’s Power Bank has also been rumored, and the same goes for a couple of budget phones. We just don’t know what exactly will arrive during this event. It’s unlikely that OnePlus will announce anything other than the OnePlus 8T (series), when smartphone announcements are concerned.

The company’s budget phones probably won’t launch during this event

The two rumored Snapdragon 600 series smartphones, and the device fueled by the Snapdragon 460, will probably arrive separately. Those devices are expected to launch in 2020, though.

The OnePlus 8T will be made out of metal and glass. It will resemble its siblings, to a degree. Its rear camera module will be placed in a different spot. It will also include a flat display, unlike the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.

The OnePlus 8T will ship with the Snapdragon 865 SoC, not the Snapdragon 865 Plus, it seems. The device will include a large battery, and ship with Android 11 out of the box, with OxygenOS 11.

It will support fast charging, though we’re not sure if wireless charging will be supported. It hopefully will, though. The phone is also expected to offer water and dust resistance. If you’d like to know more, check out our OnePlus 8T preview.
