Yesterday, AT&T in an official blog announced some launch details about the swivel phone, LG Wing on its 5G network. The LG Wing is scheduled to arrive to AT&T on November 6.
LG has had quite an eventful year. It introduced a bunch of phones here and there. But the one phone that has the potential to bring LG back into the smartphone market is the LG Wing.
The device was introduced back in mid-September. While other manufacturers like Samsung, Huawei, Motorola adapting to foldable, clamshell designs, LG took the other way.
LG introduced the LG Wing with a swivel screen that, when swiveled, forms a T-shape. This phone is not there to shatter records or make the world go crazy with its internals.
The LG Wing has been developed under the ‘Project Explorer’. And this is meant to explore the possibility of bringing new innovation to smartphones.
The LG Wing settles with a Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB RAM, and 128/256GB storage. There is a curved 6.8-inch P-OLED main display that swivels with FHD+ resolution, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The secondary screen is a 3.9-inch G-OLED with FHD+ resolution.
The 32MP selfie camera is housed in the pop-up camera mechanism. The primary camera at the back has a 64MP primary lens, 12MP ultrawide lens, and another 13MP ultrawide lens.
The LG Wing will be available on AT&T for a retail price of $1,050
Coming back to the availability of LG Wing on AT&T, it will be available on the carrier for a retail price of $1,050. This price can be split over 30 months with a monthly installment of $35.
And if you opt for going ahead with AT&T, you can save up to $700, as mentioned by AT&T on its official blog. Besides, if you have a qualifying device to trade-in, you can get LG Wing for $11.67 per month.
Good thing is that this total adds up to just $350.10, which saves up to that coined ‘$700’ of your hard-earned money. This offer is applicable to both existing and new customers. Users can take advantage of this plan by switching over to an eligible unlimited plan.
Apparently, users who go for the AT&T LG Wing will get access to a superfast 5G network across 36 cities across the US. The phone will also be arriving on AT&T in Aurora Gray.
Moreover, nationwide 5G unlimited plans start at $35/month per line for 4 lines. This flexible plan allows every member to choose the best unlimited wireless plan as per their needs.
