Samsung Galaxy S21 & S21 Ultra Designs Revealed; Launching In January

Both the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra have surfaced over the weekend, showing off their designs. These two designs both come from @OnLeaks, and they leave very little to the imagination.

The Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra designs have surfaced

Let’s start with the Galaxy S21, shall we. This handset will feature a flat display, it seems. It is mentioned that the phone’s frame will be made out of metal, while we don’t know about its back.

The device does include a rather interesting-looking rear camera module, which extends from the metal frame. That module houses three cameras sensors, by the way. You can also see the phone’s Type-C port at the bottom, and the main speaker as well.

The power / lock and volume rocker buttons are all placed on the right-hand side of the phone. It does seem like this handset has thicker bezels than the S20, and a display camera hole is still here, and it’s still centered.

Both of these phones, and the Galaxy S21+, will launch in January

The source notes that the phone features a display that measures 6.2 inches, approximately. The phone itself measures 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm (9mm with the camera bump). This source has confirmed that the whole Galaxy S21 lineup will launch in January, and is not the first source to say so.

Now, as far as the Galaxy S21 Ultra is concerned… well, its rear camera module is huge. More on that soon. The phone itself seems to have a slightly curved display, which will measure 6.7 or 6.9 inches.

A display camera hole is centered, while the phone’s bezels seem to be thinner than the ones on the S21. The phone’s camera module also extends from the frame, as on the Galaxy S21.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra features a huge camera module

Speaking of which, that camera module is huge, to say the least. It seems like there will be four camera sensors included in there, along with an LED flash, and some additional sensors.

The source did not mention what cameras exactly can we expect, but it seems like a periscope camera is included, and chances are we’ll get a separate telephoto camera, an ultra-wide unit, and a main wide-angle camera.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra allegedly measures 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm (10.8mm with the camera bump). The phone will not ship with an S Pen, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t support it, we’ll see.
