Motorola Moto E6i Launched With Android 10 Go Edition

It seems like Motorola is on a spree to launch new smartphones, especially in the budget to mid-range category. It has now quietly launched the Motorola Moto E6i in Brazil.

Last month, the company launched a bunch of smartphones namely Motorola One 5G Ace, Moto G Stylus, Moto G Play, and Moto G Power. Later this month, three new smartphones, Moto G10, G30, and E7 Power surfaced online.

There are reports that hint Motorola will soon introduce a Snapdragon 800-series smartphone as well. Fast forward to now, a new entry-level smartphone called the Motorola Moto E6i went official.

Notably, the phone is powered by a Unisoc Tiger SC9863A SoC and comes with a water-drop notch. Besides, it runs with Android 10 Go Edition out of the box.

The Motorola Moto E6i is made up of plastic and sports a dual-camera module at the back. This smartphone is the latest addition to the Moto E-series, which the company has been launching since 2019.

Last year, the Moto E6s made its debut. Apparently, four smartphones in total have been launched under the E-series, making the Moto E6i the fifth smartphone from the OEM.

The Moto E6i comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage onboard

Talking about the specifications of the Moto E6i in detail, it comes with 2GB of RAM and offers 32GB of onboard storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion as well.

It rocks a 6.1-inch display that offers HD+ resolution. A thick black bezel runs along the four sides of the display, and the back has the Motorola branding.

The dual-camera module at the rear houses a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The Moto E6i comes with the Android 10 Go Edition.

The water-drop notch at the front houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. Under the hood, Motorola Moto E6i is juiced by a 3,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The fingerprint scanner is placed on the back of the phone. Moto E6i retains the 3.5mm audio jack. Other features include dual SIM support, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, MicroUSB port for charging.

You can choose the Motorola Moto E6i between two colors, i.e. the Titanium Gray and Pink. As for the price of the device, the official website quotes the price of BRL1,099 (approximately $205/€170).

Motorola Moto E6i is available for purchase in Brazil via the official Motorola website. However, there is no word on when the phone will make its way to other markets.
