June 2021 Security Update Rolls Out To Galaxy Note 10 Series In US

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series owners in the United States are receiving the June 2021 security patch for their device, reports suggest.

If you own a Galaxy Note 10+ and Galaxy Note 10, you can head to Settings, Software Update, and tap Download and install to receive the latest security update for your device. Of course, the release of this update has just begun, and it will be available to more users in the coming days.

The firmware version for both devices is N975USQS6FUE3 and N970USQS6FUE3. You will usually be notified of an update for your device with a notification. However, if nothing pops up, you can check it manually through the Settings menu.

June 2021 security patch may head to more devices

Samsung has a special commitment to release updates for its Note series devices. This is the second update in less than a month for Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. In addition, the Korean company rolled out the May security update in the US and Canada on May 26th.

The Galaxy Note 10 series is not the first device that has received the June 2021 security patch. Previously, Samsung has released the update for its other devices like the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy Fold.

The update has just rolled out, and we still don’t know much about its improvements and possible features that it may add to the device. The May security update for Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ brought some camera improvements and a bunch of new features to the device.

Moreover, if you have got the April to update your Galaxy Note 10 device in Verizon, you may have noticed that some of the Galaxy S21 camera features are added to your device. The new features include studio-like effects in the Portrait mode, using the ultrawide lens in Pro and Pro Video camera modes, changing the background color, and more.
