So, you have access to shows like Titans and Doom Patrol, and you also have movies like Super Pets and justice League.
Along with that, there are other shows from channels such as Cartoon Network. If you are interested, the ad-supported plan costs $9.99/month or $99.99/year. If you don’t want ads, then you can get the ad-free plan for $14.99/month or $149.99/year.
HBO Max is back on Amazon Prime Video
HBO Max fans rejoice! We got news that the service was leaving Amazon Prime Video back in August 2021. This means that it was off for more than a year. However, the CEO and president of the newly-formed Wonder Brothers Discovery, David Zaslav, has been working on revamping the company’s strategy. He’s been reversing a lot of the decisions made over the past year, and that included bringing HBO Max back to Amazon Prime Video.
Why did HBO Max leave in the first place? In a word, money. HBO Max pulled its channel from Amazon Prime Video so that it could retain all of the revenue from its viewers. Being a channel on Amazon Prime Video meant that any revenue gained through a partnership needed to be shared with Amazon.
However, leaving Amazon Prime Video actually led to a drop in revenue. HBO Max’s exodus has caused a whopping 5 million subscribers to leave the platform. That’s massive for a new service. Now that it’s back, hopefully, most of those subscribers will return.
