At CES 2023, the pool cleaning company Aiper launched the Seagull Pro, the world’s first quad-motor pool cleaning robot. This CES 2023 Innovation Award Honoree is a powerful vacuum that can efficiently clean in- or above-ground pools of up to 3,200 sq. ft. for up to three hours on a single charge.
The Seagull Pro’s unique quad-motor system allows it to move around your pool by sucking and quickly exhausting water, allowing it to pick up dirt, sand, leaves, hairs, and other particles from the pool floor. It also offers three cleaning modes: floor cleaning, wall cleaning, and auto, which cleans both. The Pro features Aiper’s patented WavePath Navigation, which follows a unique wave shape to increase coverage compared to vacuums that wander randomly. When it launches in March, the Seagull Pro will retail for $900.
Aiper’s More Affordable Models: The Seagull Plus and Aiper Elite Pro
Besides the Seagull Pro, Aiper also launched two new, more affordable models: the Seagull Plus and the Aiper Elite Pro. The Seagull Plus can clean pools up to 1,300 sq. ft. and features a dual-motor system. It has a runtime of 110 minutes and will retail for $400.
The Aiper Elite Pro has many of the same high-end features as the Seagull Pro but can only clean smaller pools (up to 1,300 sq. ft.) and features a dual-motor system. It has a lightweight design with wall-climbing capabilities and a runtime of two hours, the same time it takes to recharge. The Elite Pro arrives this Thursday for $800.
For those on a budget, Aiper offers the Seagull SE, a budget water vacuum released in November. However, the Seagull SE can only clean pools up to 850 sq. ft. and has a runtime of 90 minutes with its dual drive motors before needing to be recharged (which takes about two and a half hours). The Seagull SE retails for $300.
