If you’re a Samsung laptop user, then you’d be glad to know that the company just announced its Galaxy Book 3 series of Windows computers at its latest Unpacked event. Are you thinking of picking one up, but you don’t know what colors there are? Well, don’t worry, here are the colors for the Galaxy Book 3 computers.
Admittedly, Samsung didn’t go all out in the color department for its Galaxy Book 3 computers. There’s no Bespoke edition, nor is there a collection of radical colors to choose from. Starting from the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, this computer will only come in Graphite. That’s a dark gray that’s similar to your pencil lead.
The two less premium computers actually have more color options than the Ultra; however, they don’t have many more. Aside from also coming in Graphite, these computers also have a Beige color. And, that’s it.
So, there aren’t many color options for these computers, but that’s not really an issue. There are plenty more color options for phones because phones are much more of a fashion statement. Computers, while they’ve become sleek and stylish as time went on, you’re less likely to want one in an “Insane Purple” or “Unicorn Pink” color.
Besides the colors, what else can we expect from the Galaxy Book 2 series?
Short answer: power! Samsung went all out on the specs for these computers, and that’s most evident when looking at the Ultra variant. Now, there are some notable differences between these computers, but there are some similarities.
Display
All of these computers use Dynamic 2X AMOLED displays with a 2880 x 1800 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Even the 14-inch variant of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro has these specs. This means that you’ll have a great viewing experience while using these computers.
Ports
These computers all share the same ports with one slight difference. They have two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A port, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and a headphone jack. The only difference is that the Ultra model has HDMI 2.0 while the other two have HDMI 1.4.
Processing power
The Ultra model uses the 13th Gen Intel Core i7/Core i9 (which one depends on your specific region). As for the GPU, it uses the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU/GeForce RTX 4070 (which one depends on your region)
Both the other two models use the Intel Core i5/Core i7, so there’s no option for the i9, unfortunately. They will both use Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
All three models will have 8GB/16GB/32GB of LPDDR 5 RAM (the Ultra will not have the 8GB option). Also, all three models will have 256GB/512GB/1TB of SSD storage (the Ultra won’t have the 256GB option). If you need more storage, the Ultra model comes with an expansion slot.
Battery
All three models will come with a 76Wh battery (63Wh for the 14-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro) and the two lower-tier devices will come with 65W charging. The Ultra model will have 100W charging.
