JBL had plenty to say at CES 2023, that’s for sure. The company announced its true wireless earbuds with a touchscreen charging case, which we already talked about, in addition to a bunch of other, similar products. We’re here to talk about 7 new pairs of entry-level and mid-range pairs of true wireless earbuds from JBL. Do note that JBL didn’t provide us with all the images, only three are available, and all have been included in the article.
JBL announced 7 new pairs of true wireless earbuds at CES 2023
The company decided to update its ‘Tune’ and ‘Vibe’ series earbuds, with three pairs in each series. On top of that, the JBL Endurance Peak 3 earphones got announced by the company. Let’s start with the ‘Tune’ series, shall we?
The JBL Tune series earbuds come in three different designs. The Tune Buds are the standard buds with 10mm drivers. The Tune Beam earbuds have a stick design with close tips. They’re similar to the AirPods Pro when it comes to design. They have 6mm drivers. The Tune Flex are open stick earbuds, like the standard AirPods, and include 12mm drivers.
All ‘JBL Tune’ earbuds offer ANC, and have great battery life
All three pairs of these offer active noise cancelation (ANC). The Tune Buds and Tune Beam offer 12 hours of playback, while the charging case adds another 36 hours. That’s with ANC off. If it’s on, they can offer around 10 hours of use, and 30 more from the case. That’s great, needless to say.
The Tune Flex earbuds, on the other hand, offer 8 hours of playback, with 24 additional hours added by the case, when the ANC is off. With it on, they can provide 6 hours of use, with 18 added from the charging case.
The Tune Buds and Beam do offer IP54 water and dust resistance. The Tune Flex earphones, on the flip side, have IPX4 certification. They come in black, blue, and white color options, all three pairs. They’ll become available in June for $100, each.
The JBL Vibe series are the company’s entry-level earbuds
The JBL Vibe series also includes three pairs of earbuds. These are entry-level earbuds, though, and they come without ANC. The Vibe Buds, Vibe Beam, and Vibe Flex models have been announced.
The JBL Vibe Buds have a bud design, with 8mm drivers. The Vibe Beam offer a closed stick design with 8mm drivers. The Vibe Flex earbuds have an open stick design, and come with 12mm drivers.
You’ll be glad to know that all three pairs have IP54 certification for water resistance. All three pairs offer 8 hours of playback, with 24 more added by the case.
The JBL Vibe series is coming in February in black and white colors. The Vibe Buds and Vibe Beam will cost $50 each. The Vibe Flex, on the other hand, will be priced at $70.
If you’re looking for new fitness earbuds, the JBL Endurance Peak 3 may be of interest
The JBL Endurance Peak 3 are the company’s newest workout earbuds. They have an ear-hook design, and include 10mm drivers. They also offer IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
These earbuds offer 10 hours of battery life, plus 40 more added by the case. They do not have ANC, though. The JBL Endurance Peak 3 earbuds are coming in black and white variants, and will cost $100 when they launch on February 19.
