Following the UlefoneArmor 20WT quality tests that Ulefone published recently, the company just published a similar video for the Power Armor 19T. In the video embedded below the article, you can see how the Power Armor 19T is tested prior to release.
The Ulefone Power Armor 19T quality tests get shown in a video
This video has a duration of almost three minutes, and it shows a wide variety of tests. The Power Armor 19T is a rugged smartphone, so it has to meet higher standards than regular phones.
In this video, you’ll see the phone pass the USB plug-in stress test, which is conducted 2,000 times. The buttons test is performed 100,000 times, to make sure the buttons are good enough before the phone goes into production.
The USB plug-in/out test tests the USB port with 5,000 insertions and removals, while the touch screen is also heavily tested, with 100,000 taps. The mini drop test is performed 5,000 times, as the phone is dropped from a height of about 10cm.
The multi-angle drop test is also included, as is the tumble test
The multi-angle drop test sees the phone dropped 200 times from 1.5 meters. Ulefone also tests the phone in extreme temperatures, from -20°C to 55°C. The tumble test sees the phone thrown into a machine where it tumbled around 300 times in succession.
Ulefone also has the so-called ‘steel ball test’ where it dropped steel balls of 30, 60, 90, and 130 grams on the phone’s display. The waterproof test sees the phone submerged to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
The bend test tests how sturdy the phone is, as it has to pass 2,000 gentle bend tests without cracks. The aging test is the last test on the list, and it tests the phone’s battery.
This phone comes with a huge battery, and a thermal camera
The Ulefone Power Armor 19T comes with a huge, 9,600mAh battery. It supports 66W wired, and 15W wireless charging. A 108-megapixel camera sits on the back, along with a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel thermal camera.
MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC fuels the phone, while Ulefone included 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM here. You’re also getting 256GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage, and a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display.
The phone is already available for $399.99 via AliExpress. If you’re interested, the purchase link is included below.
