As expected, Google is offering some trade-ins for the Pixel Fold. Google’s first foldable smartphone is definitely not cheap at $1,799, so it’s good to know that trade-ins up to $900 are available.
Google offers some trade-in deals for the Pixel Fold, up to $900
You can get these trade-in deals via the Google Store, if you live in the US, of course. The phone is already available to pre-order, so you can jump at a chance to take advantage of these deals.
As expected, the highest trade-in deals are offered for iPhones and Samsung devices, and are followed by a couple of Pixel phones. Let’s go over the list and see how much you can save up if you trade in.
You can get a full $900 deal for a couple of iPhones, and the Galaxy Z Fold 4
If you’re looking to get a full $900 trade-in deal, you can grade in your iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, or Galaxy Z Fold 4. The iPhone 13 Pro sits slightly below that at $850, and is followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 3 for which you can get an $800 discount.
Moving along, trading in the Galaxy S22 Ultra will get you a $750 discount, while doing the same with the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will get you a $725 discount.
Those devices are followed by the Galaxy Z Flip 4 ($700), Galaxy S21 Ultra ($650), Galaxy Fold ($625), Galaxy Z Flip 3 ($600), Pixel 7a ($500), Pixel 7 Pro ($380), iPhone 14 ($350), Pixel 7 ($295), iPhone 13 ($230), Pixel 6 Pro ($216.50), and the Pixel 6 ($150.40).
These values are subject to change, of course
Do note that these trade-in values are subject to change, of course. So, if you’re looking to get the Pixel Fold, and you have an older device to trade in, well… there you go.
The Google Pixel Fold launched yesterday during Google I/O 2023 keynote. The phone is exactly what we expected. It is fueled by the Tensor G2 SoC, and comes with 12GB of RAM.
The phone has a 7.6-inch main display, and a 5.8-inch outer panel. Both are 120Hz displays, and 21W wired and wireless charging is supported. The charger, however, is not included in the box.
